How It Works in a Real Pool Changing Room
Against a wall, the cabinet takes about 2 meters of wall space and 1.2 meters of depth. Leave 1.5 meters in front for people to move around.
Each compartment has an upper shelf for hanging a swimsuit and towel, and a lower section for sandals and a gym bag. There’s a small shelf at the top for a phone and keys. Compartment floor has drainage holes — if you hang a wet swimsuit inside, water drips through the bottom and dries out instead of pooling.
24 compartments will cover 30-50 regular members. If you have 60+ members using the same time slot, you’ll want two units side by side (48 compartments) or go up to a 36-door model.
Members swipe their card and the system assigns an empty compartment automatically. No need to remember a number. For facilities that don’t want automated assignment, you can set it to fixed-assignment mode — each card is locked to one specific door.

These ship fully assembled. Each unit is secured on a wooden pallet, wrapped in stretch film, with foam corner protectors. 1.8 meters tall, stood upright in the truck — doesn’t get knocked around. Domestic delivery usually takes 3-5 business days. If something arrives damaged, send us a photo, we ship replacement parts or a full replacement at our cost. Damage rate is under 0.5%.

Q: How long will a powder-coated locker last in a pool changing room?
A: With normal maintenance, 5-8 years. The key thing is keeping the base dry. Raise the cabinet 5cm off the floor so mopping water doesn’t soak the bottom edge. The powder coat handles humidity fine — what kills it is standing water.
Q: Will 24 compartments be enough for my facility?
A: Honestly, it’s tight for anything over 50 regular users. 30-50 members? You’re fine. Over 60? Go with two units or a 36-door model. Peak hours (morning and evening) might have a short wait, but most of the day there’s plenty of free compartments.
Q: What happens when a member loses their card?
A: Deactivate the old card in the system, issue a new one. Cost is a few dollars. The manager card can open any locker, which helps when someone forgets their card and needs their stuff.
Q: What if the electronic lock fails?
A: Every lock has a mechanical key override. Manager turns the key and the door opens. The lock cylinder and controller board are separate — you replace just the failed part, not the whole unit.
Q: Does the powder coating really hold up against pool chemicals?
A: We ran a salt spray test — standard powder coating starts bubbling at 100 hours. Ours held up past 200. Still, keep the cabinet dry. Don’t drape wet towels over the top, and make sure the floor drain works.
